for his upcoming participation in the Whitney Biennial 2010!!

iona rozeal brown's solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland
opens on January 29 and will be on view through May 9.

Bradley Castellanos' solo exhibition "North Woods" will open at Marx & Zavattero Gallery
in San Francisco on February 4 and will be on view through March 13.
Castellanos' work is also currently in the "Lives on the Hudson"
exhibition at the Tang Museum in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Congratulations to Richard Klein for the acquisition of a major work,
"Transparency" by the Connecticut Collection (for the State of Connecticut).
His sculpture joins works by Sol LeWitt and Robert Cottingham which were also acquired this year.
Klein's work will next be seen in the "Think Pink" exhibition curated by Beth Rudin DeWoody
at Gavlak Gallery in Palm Beach, FL (February 13 - March 20).

Nicola Lopez's "Urban Transformations" exhibition opened at the Mesaros Galleries
at West Virginia University on January 21 and will be on view through early March.
Her work can be seen in the "Embrace!" exhibition at the Denver Art Museum through April 4
and in "Fresh from Chelsea" at the University of Central Florida in Orlando through February 26.
López's "Fallout" installation will be presented in the "Phantom Sightings" exhibition
which opens at the Museo del Barrio in New York City on March 21.

Bradley McCallum & Jacqueline Tarry have eight Mug Shots
in the "Masterworks of Contemporary African-American Art" exhibition
at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland (January 29 - May 9)
Their "Exchange" video will be presented in the "One on One"
exhibition opening at Site Santa Fe on February 6.

Paul Henry Ramirez's "BLACKOUT: A Centennial Commission"
will be on view at the Newark Museum from in Newark, NJ February 17 through May 23.
"Zero Point Zero" a dance performance choreographed by Debra J. Fernandez
in response to Ramirez's BLACKOUT installation will be presented
during the opening reception on Friday, March 5.

Andrew Sendor's paintings are currently on view in the
"The Road Less Traveled - Wishing You Love and Happiness and Curiosity Forever"
exhibition at the V1 Gallery in Copenhagen, Denmark through February 13.
His work will also be presented in the "In.flec.tion" exhibition which opens
at the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Arts on February 28.

Travis Somerville's has two solo exhibition opening back to back in late February;
the first, titled "Rededicated to the proposition..." on the 20th at Catherine Clark Gallery in San Francisco
and the second titled "a portion of that field" on the 27th at Charlie James Gallery in Los Angeles.
These exhibitions will share with a wider audience some of Somerville's iconic work
from his one person "Dedicated to the Proposition..." exhibition that was presented
at the Ben Maltz Gallery of Otis College of Art & Design last Fall.

Devorah Sperber's traveling exhibition "Devorah Sperber: Threads of Perception" exhibition
at the Knoxville Museum of Art was extended to March 14, (an exhibition catalog is available through the Washington Press). The exhibition will travel next to the Kimball Art Center in Park City, Utah in late August.

OTHER NEWS: Caren Golden will be giving a lecture to the graduate Professional Practices class at the Boston Museum School in early February. Jonathan Allen work can been seen in the LIMINAL SPACE group exhibition at The Lay-up in Brooklyn through February 18. Allen will participate in the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Works in-progress Open Studios on March 7. Steve Bindernagel has a very cool painting in the CRG exhibition "The Language of Flowers" on view through Feb 13. Nick Lamia has an artist's book included in "The Art of the Artist's Book" at the Oakland University Art Gallery in Rockland, Michigan. And DON'T MISS Ted Riederer's "Never Records" installation in the terrific "No Longer Empty" pop up show at the old Tower Record Store (Broadway and 4th Street, NYC). It is open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 7 PM through February 13.
